We had a much better showing in the final Jeopardy! round in the final week of 2022 than previously weeks. There were two (count ’em!) triple solves and the other three clues went 2 out of 3. I ranked Monday’s TV Finale clue as the hardest simply because everyone doesn’t watch that show and everyone hasn’t seen the movie that was referred to. The easiest of the two clues that everyone got was probably Friday’s. It was in the news a lot in 2022.

Jeopardy! champs, week of December 26, 2022

Ray Lalonde returned for Game 8 on Monday. He had another week of consistent wins, although there was one game where he did not finish in the lead. Either Ray’s planets were jolly well aligned or his challenger’s planets weren’t so Ray managed to win anyway. Ray’s $42K+ payday on Friday was the best of his run so far, not just the week’s. He started the week as a 7x champ with $192,700 and ended as a 12x champ with $354,300.

Here’s the category “A MEMORABLE NEW YEAR’S EVE” from Friday’s game.
