Marko found the first Daily Double in “Poets of Love” under the $1,200 clue on the 2nd pick of the round. He was in the lead with $6,400, $2,400 less than Molly in second place. Marko bet $4,500 and guessed intertwine. That was WRONG.

WHO IS HARLEY QUINN?

Harley Quinn is a popular character in DC comics, TV series and films. She has a thing going on with the Joker. The name Harlequin, from Italian commedia dell’arte, has been used before by DC, several times. In fact, in one incarnation, Harlequin was the Joker’s daughter. They obviously had to change it up the 5th time around. Harlequin and Harley Quinn are also popular at Halloween parties.

Actress Margot Robbie portrayed Harley Quinn in “Birds of Prey” (2020), the film referred to in the clue. Lady Gaga will be Harley in “Joker: Folie à Deux”, a film coming out later this year. (Watch the trailer)



Molly got it right. She bet $4,798 and finished with $9,598.

Scott went with Wonder Woman. He lost $6,901 and finished with $4,499.

Marko also got it right. He bet $6,901 and won the game with $22,801. Marko’s 2-day total is $26,600.

    Ok, I’ll say I was wrong. Marko now has 2. I still don’t get “champion” energy from him.

    Good game, everyone had a chance with the lead, maybe a few too many wrong answers. “Mixer” was the big clue in the 2nd DD, but Marko tried to rhyme the wrong word. The efficient water heater is fairly well-known. The quidnunc turned out to be super obvious.

    As much as I like Margot Robbie, I never saw those Harley films and didn’t know the FJ.

    I noticed the losing contestants got $3K and $2K. Did that start back in September during 2nd chance, or just last week with the new players?

      @Howard, it’s been that way since this season started.

      I’m glad Marko won. I don’t like seeing contestants go home with less than $10K.
