Ray Lalonde’s Jeopardy Statistics

Ray Lalonde first appeared on the Alex Trebek Jeopardy! stage on Thursday, December 15, 2022. He won the last two games of that week and $60,600. His second game was a runaway. So Ray was looking like a promising player, but some of us do try not to get high hopes for a superchamp based on two games. After all, Ray had just sent home a 3-day champ who racked up two runaways before he ran into Ray.

In Week 2, Ray kept up the good work, despite getting two Final Jeopardy! clues wrong. By the end of the week, he had secured a spot in the next Tournament of Champions and more than tripled the $60,600 from the first two games and, at $192,700, was closing in on $200K. Superchamp status was certainly looking good at this point.

In his third week, Ray won his 10th game on Wednesday. Now it just remained to see how many more games this superchamp would rack up. Ray finished the week with his highest payday in 12 games.

Ray began Week 4 with a 13th win and some of us viewers may have thought he might exceed $500K by the end of the week. On Tuesday, however, Ray’s streak came to an end when Lloyd Sy finished Double Jeopardy! with $490 more than Ray. Everyone got the final clue right and leader Lloyd won.
