WHO IS ALFRED DREYFUS?

In 1995, General Jean-Louis Mourrut, head of the French Army’s history department, declared that Alfred Dreyfus was the victim of a “military conspiracy which led to the conviction and deportation of an innocent man, and partially on the basis of a falsified document.” According to accounts, including one from The Deseret News, this was the first time the French Army acknowledged that Dreyfus was innocent. The article says: “In 1906, the military refused to admit the frame-up and found Dreyfus guilty with ‘extenuating circumstances.’ A few days later, French President Emile Loubet issued a pardon.” However, according to this timeline on the website “Dreyfus Rehabilitated”, that occurred in 1899. In 1906, on July 12, “Dreyfus’s innocence is proclaimed in the Court of Cassation’s decree.”

Well another great play by Lisa and I love her comedy routine on the show so far.

And I thought that we might get a triple solve but Benedict Arnold? He is a traitor of New York not France. What was Rachel thinking after not understanding the key hint of France, VJ? By the way, what crimes was Dreyfus accused of doing?
