This was a week for the record books and certainly not in a good way! Tuesday was the only day that anyone knew Final Jeopardy! and it was only one player. Usually, when the topic in the clue is the law, as it was in Tuesday’s clue, this particular author is Jeopardy!’s go-to guy so we think that would be a fairly easy clue most of the time. Nevertheless, Friday’s clue was the easiest for this geography-lover. There was more than one clue I wasn’t going to get in 30 seconds, no matter what. When it comes to Oscar-winning films, for instance, there are very few that I can name just from the year and I didn’t know 1989’s winner was originally a play.

Jeopardy! champs, week of April 3, 2023

Returning champ, Sharon Stone lost to Crystal Zhao. Crystal lost to Brian Henegar on Tuesday, the day he was the only one correct in FJ! Brian’s next two games were runaways so it didn’t matter if he knew FJ! or not. By his 4th game on Friday. Brian’s winnings totaled $68,202 but he could only add a consolation prize of $2,000 to that when he lost to Rachel Clark. We’ll be seeing Rachel again on Monday.

Here is the category “TARANTINO FILMS” from Monday’s game.
