Teen Tournament Rerun: 8-11-17 Final No. 2

Today’s Jeopardy match originally aired on November 22, 2016. It was the final battle for the $100,000 top prize in the 2016 Teen Tournament. The finalists: Michael Borecki, Sharath Narayan and Alec Fischthal.

$400: The number of American colonies at the time of the Revolution plus the number of states today 63
$800: The number of countries that begin with Q times the number of countries that begin with X
$1200 (DD +$3,000): The number of Great Lakes times the number of countries that border the United States
$1600: The number of continents minus the number of mountains above 29,000 feet
$2000: The number of U.S. states on the Pacific Ocean squared

Lots of folks love these categories. Here’s another one called YOU DO THE MATH from Kristin Sausville’s first game on 3/11/2015. It was in the first round:

$200: Number of ounces in a pound plus the number of pints in a gallon
$400: Yards between the end zone on an NFL field divided by the number of 15-minute periods in a game
$600: Number of seconds in an hour divided by the number of degrees in a circle
$800: It’s the square root of a gross
$1000: Number of original U.S. colonies minus the number of official solar planets farther out than Earth
