We started out the New Year with 2 back-to-back Landmark categories. Two players got the first one but only one got the second. That was followed up by 2 very easy Final Jeopardy! clues that only 2 players got. Either of those was the week’s easiest and it was a bit of shock that they weren’t triple solves. No one got Friday’s clue but that was not unexpected — it was the hardest clue of the week, although it very well could played better with, say, a panel with a librarian or older players.
The final match of last week’s Second Chance Tournament came on Monday and Xanni Brown won that one. The next 3 games were Second Chance semifinals and the winners were Michael Cavaliere, Randall Rayford and Matt Harvey. Those 3 gentlemen competed in the first final match on Friday. Matt’s in the lead but it’s not a huge lead like we’ve seen in the finals of other tournaments.
Here is the “Concert Tours” category from Tuesday’s game.
