Two of last week’s clues only went 1 out of 3, and we thought that Wednesday’s was the hardest of those two. It was a real head-slapper after the fact, but what can ya do? I don’t even even think of the response as a tree (unlike Emily Bronte). The easiest was obviously the only triple solve on Friday.
Jennifer Quail returned as an 8x champ on Monday and lost to Kirby Copelin. Kirby lost on Tuesday to Rodolfo Yuichiro Bedoy. He was defeated by Dave Algase on Wednesday. Eric Smith took over on Thursday and won his second game on Friday. He’ll be back on Monday to try for a third win.
