Supporting Cast of Rodef: Ray Donovan

Here are some of the actors who appeared in Rodef, the eleventh episode of Season 2 of Ray Donovan.

Jake Elliott played the teenager who managed to get a cell phone video of what went down when Cookie Brown murdered Marvin Gaye Washington and Re-Kon. Well, it’s not really clear if Cookie is in the video yet, but the witness Bridget Donovan (Kerris Dorsey) is. The kid got a little confused about how much he wanted for the video and asked Ray Donovan (Liev Schreiber) for his $2,000. His father, played by Vic Stagliano, straightened that out — the price was $20,000. Cheap, at any rate, since Cookie gave Ray a million bucks to buy it! Marty Grossman (Jay Thomas) was stressing because he tried to jack his cut to 2 million and tried to sic his boy toy Troy on Ray, but Ray reminded Troy about what happened to Marty’ last boy toy, Chip. We don’t think Marty got anything.

Mark Adair-Rios played Bob the Detective, Jim Halloran’s partner who is riding with him when Halloran tries to jam up Cookie Brown by stopping him on a pretext and and planting cocaine on him. You could tell that Bob was not going to be cool with Jim’s actions and even asked him to reveal what he had in his pocket (the cocaine), but Jim refused to even answer him.

Shorty (played by Stephan Duvall) went out with an inevitable blast when his oxygen tank exploded while he was trying to light a joint. Rest in peace, Shorty.
