Supporting Cast: Home Sweet Homeless Shelter – Shameless

Svetlana’s father rode into town on a cow freighter in Episode 3, Season 7 of Shameless (10-16-16), and Frank put together a new Gallagher clan. We have the actors and actresses who played them in this post. The recap of the episode is here.

Pasha D. Lychnikoff played Svetlana’s father who is going to be staying with Kev, Veronica and Svetlana for a while. We don’t really know what to call their household since they all have different last names and we don’t even know Svetlana’s. If she’s still married to Mickey Milkovitch, then that’s it. If not, it’s still her son Evgeny’s last name. Back to her father, Pasha Lychnikoff just got killed by Ray Donovan (Liev Schreiber) last July when he played Ivan Belikov in that series. He spoke English fine at the time, at least until Ray strangled him and then shot him.

Fine, call us Fiona and Monica. Just don’t call us late for breakfast.

Arden Myrin so far has just been called “Dollface,” although her character name is Dollface Dolores on IMDB. As far as Frank is concerned, it’s now New Monica. Mary E. Kennedy plays New Fiona.

New Carl and New Debbie

Joshua McCrary plays New Carl and Shannon Merrill Brown is New Debbie, who is praying that “Daddy Frank” will change his name to Dan. They are the sons of Dollface. Shannon no doubt looked familiar to “Empire” viewers. He played young Dwight Walker (who grew up to become Lucious Lyon) in Season 2 of that series.

New Ian and and New Lip

So who’s who? Good question but we were think Frank called the taller one New Ian. We don’t know who played New Ian because he was not listed in the credits. Jonah Hwang played New Lip. They are brothers who were in the homeless shelter because their mother died and their father went out to get stoned and never came back.

If you don’t move your van, my wife will make me move to an even more expensive neighborhood.

Derek Anthony played the rich neighbor of Nooks & Fannies’ first customer. After a 14th Amendment discussion with Kevin, he figured the easiest way to get the graphic images of Svetlana and V off his street was to give Kevin a couple of Ben Franklins. That took the business in a whole new direction.
