Anyone interested in Dr. Monica Thieu can google her name and it will take you directly to her website. She is currently a postdoctoral fellow engaging in
research at the School of Medicine at Emory University. Her undergraduate degree is from Stanford University. Her doctoral degree is from Columbia University.

Her appearances on Jeopardy, including participating on the Ken Jennings team in 2019 during the All-star Games, are listed in the “J-Archive.” VJ, Are you able to link her “J-Archive” page here?

    • VJ says:

Jacob, If I link to her player page, then I’m gonna feel like I have to link to everyone’s player page. JBoard is already keeping track of that. Ryan Chaffee is a 4x J! champ and quite a few J! contestants have appeared on the other side. So I put in links to the various places people can look up contestants at the end of the MM recap. How’s that?

  2. Jason says:

Where in the world did they find Ross? He only got two questions correct out of the first two rounds. I’m accustomed to the contestants being sharper than that.

Also, did I miss a show or two? Was Monica a game winner, or is she a new, fill-in Mastermind? Her name rings a bell. I think she was on/won Jeopardy.

Ah, that’s it! Today’s (Friday) episode said she won the Teen Tournament.

  3. Jacob Ska says:

I was shocked that the place where “JB” lives was one of the responses when I watched this episode. Watching the news had me thinking about him already. Sure hope he’s safe.
