Jacksonville Beats Buffalo 9-6 in Battle of Josh Allens

The Jacksonville Jaguars hosted the Buffalo Bills on November 7th in a matchup of Josh Allens. The Bills starting quarterback in Josh Allen, and Jacksonville has a linebacker named Josh Allen. Buffalo’s Josh was the seventh overall pick in the 2018 draft, and Jacksonville’s Josh was the seventh overall pick in the 2019 draft. This was the first time the two had faced each other in a game.

Buffalo’s Josh Allen threw for 264 yards and rushed for 50 more, but he did not complete a touchdown pass and threw two interceptions—including one to Jacksonville’s Josh Allen. Jacksonville’s Josh also recovered a fumble, led the Jaguars in tackles with eight, and sacked the other Josh once. The Bills will play the Patriots twice in December, in Buffalo on December 6th and in New England on the 26th.
