The easiest clues this week were undoubtedly the first two, yet somehow only 2 got FJ right on Tuesday. No one can say for sure but, sometimes, it does seem like a player will reject the obvious answer because they expect Jeopardy! clues to be harder. The 2 out of 3 results continued through Thursday and, on Friday, the zinger of the week showed up. Nobody got it.

Dave Mattingly returned for his second game and it was another runaway. So was Tuesday’s and everyone had high hopes of seeing Dave for the rest of the week. He lost to Burt Westermeier on Wednesday, however, and Burt handed the reins over to Rick Terpstra on Thursday. Rick won the last game of the season and he will try for a third win when the new season of Jeopardy! begins on September 10, 2018.

In the last week of Season 34, nobody made it to the Top 10 payouts of Season 34, so that list remains the same. I am going to put up another list on the ToC post next week to show the Top 15 payouts, not including Austin Rogers or anyone else with multiple entries, so stayed tuned for that.
