After an inauspicious start to the week, things picked up on Wednesday when everyone got FJ, so that was the easiest clue of the week. The rest of the week had mixed results. Of the 2 triple stumpers, Tuesday’s clue got our nod for the hardest. They could have had something in there to make it easier, like the author’s country at least.

Jeopardy! champs for the week of June 4, 2018

Ian Booth returned on Monday for his second game, but lost to Leslie Manion who wisely didn’t bet the farm. Joe Castro was the wise one on Tuesday in the second FJ no one could figure out. Michelle Rosen won on Wednesday with the FJ everyone figured out. On Thursday, Mirza Gluhic had a runaway and a great payday, but on Friday, David Kleinman took the honors and he had the Top Payday of the Week.

Even so, The Top 10 payouts of Season 34 stayed the same. $33,201 is the score to beat to get on there.

Here is the category “Prince” (or most of it anyhow), in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Purple One’s birth on June 7th. They left out the $200 clue: “Prince will forever be associated with this: a song, an album and a movie that won an Oscar and 2 Grammys.” Mirza got that one.
