Final Jeopardy: 6-18 to 6-22-18

Here are the Final Jeopardy questions and answers for the week of June 18 through June 22:

Fri, June 22 – Correct answers: 2
MEDICINE & THE MOVIES: Vestibular rehabilitation is one treatment for a condition that is also the title of this 1958 suspense film show

We began this week with a very easy final clue that everyone got. It proved to be the easiest of the week. For the next 2 days, there was only one solve. On Thursday, a triple stumper showed up and there were 2 correct responses on Friday. Tuesday’s “congratulatory telegram” was judged by some folks to be misleading but, c’mon — it’s a well-known story one is bound to come across when studying presidential trivia. I decided that the classical music clue was the hardest. You not only have to know something about the composer, you have to know his works. On the geography clue, you just need to study maps. I like the maps they have on Australia’s Smart Traveler site. (That wouldn’t have helped with this clue. 😀 It’s travel info to other countries for Australians.)

Jeopardy! champs for the week of June 18, 2018

Deirdre Thomas was Monday’s returning champ and she won her second game. She was defeated on Tuesday by Ali Hasan who was a 3x champ by Thursday. On Friday, Jordan Nussbaum came out on top.

Ali’s $26,401 was the week’s top payday but The Top 10 payouts of Season 34 stayed the same once again. $33,201 is the score to beat on there and there are not many weeks left of regular games.

The only clip from this week that Jeopardy! put up is the Frank Sinatra category from Tuesday.
