Everyone got FJ on Tuesday, really a geography clue, as Alex Trebek noted. Nobody got FJ on Thursday, really a mythology clue. At our house, we thought Monday’s clue was the hardest and Friday’s was the easiest.
Virginia Cummings returned on Monday and won another match. On Tuesday, she was defeated by Jeffrey Schwarz who was a 3x champ by Friday. Ian Booth won on Friday and will be back on Monday. Jeffrey had the biggest daily win but it was not enough to get on the Top 10 payouts of Season 34 list. The only person on the Top 10 payouts list who will definitely be in the next ToC is Rob Worman. Jeffrey did get on the ToC list but, as we know, his chances are iffy.
Here is the “Detail” category from Tuesday’s game. Alex Trebek especially liked it when no one wanted to answer the U.S. flag clue. That FedEx clue reminded me of a Logo game the kids used to have. Omigosh! I hated that game and only played a couple of times.
