Alex Trebek obviously felt that Wednesday’s clue was going to put non-Christian contestants at a disadvantage. We doubt if he would have felt the need to explain that the game boards are chosen “well before we know who the contestants are going to be” if the clue was about a historical Latin quotation, or any other topic. It turned out that 2 players thought they had to translate a phrase. The only triple stumper in the group had to do with American Civil War history. Tuesday’s clue was the easiest, in our opinion.

Dhruv Gaur won the 2018 Jeopardy! College Championship after the 2-day final. All of the finalists appear in this video, with Hannah remarking on Dhruv’s Daily Double radar, and Dhruv referring to Buzzy Cohen, Austin Rogers and Alan Lin (!!) as “old.” OMG!! If he thinks they are old, what does he think Alex Trebek is?
