Tuesday’s clue was my choice for easiest this week. The guy’s name is a fish, after all, and anyone who has ever seen it must have thought “why would anyone name their kid that?” Obviously, it wasn’t as easy as I thought. It would have been interesting to see how it would have panned out if they gave his specific cabinet position. The hardest, for me anyway, was Monday’s because I totally misunderstood the clue.

Jeopardy! champs from March 25-29, 2019

Dave Scatena was Monday’s returning champ. He won one more game but lost on Tuesday to Emma Badame. Steven Grade prevailed on Wednesday and was a 3x champ by Friday.

Steven had the highest and lowest payout of the week. That got him the No. 4 spot on the Top 15 Daily Payouts of Season 35, as well as a spot on the Under $10K Payouts list.

Here is the “Talk Nerdy” category from Tuesday’s game:

I agree with you on Monday,VJ, the clue could have written clearer. Obviously I was not the only one misunderstanding it, i.e. thinking it was written wrong in the first place. For the easiest one I have to split between Tue and Wed. “I shall return” after drummed out from the Philippines is VERY famous, though I guess it IS a generation thing. Our generation was not alive yet during or to young to be aware of WWII.
Still, 2 busts and no sweep for this week.
