What to say about this crop of clues? Well, the first three produced 2 out of 3. We think the easiest of those was Wednesday’s. Things went downhill from there with only one solve on Thursday and none on Friday. Thursday’s clue wasn’t hard for champ, Peter. He was the only one to get it. So we’ll have to vote Friday’s the hardest.

Jeopardy! champs for the week of March 12, 2018

Mark Ashton was the returning champ on Monday, but he lost to Zach Dark. Tuesday’s game went to Zach as well, but Peter Karamitsos came out on top in Wednesday’s game. That happened on Thursday, too, then Peter went home on Friday when Rahul Gupta’s FJ strategy paid off. Almost all paydays this week were in the range that make Alex Trebek happy, but none approached Top 10 status.
