We started this week with a triple solve and ended it with a triple stumper. In the middle was the only single solve and the others went 2/3. Some may think that Wednesday’s was the hardest but we thought it was Friday’s. After all, there were 3 “Bounty” movies and one of the players in that game did know that much but just couldn’t recall the name of the island in 30 seconds. Friday’s FJ produced 3 completely different responses!

Jeopardy! champs for the week of January 14, 2019

2x champ Anneke Garcia returned on Monday and won 2 more games. Wednesday’s FJ was her undoing and John Presloid took over. John won 2 more games and will return next Monday to play his 4th game.

There were two $30K and over paydays but John’s wasn’t enough to make the Top 10 Payouts. Anneke, on the other hand, went straight to the head of the class.

Overall, this week was a much better week than last week, despite another heart breaker on Wheel Of Fortune this past Wednesday, and it was just not my night, but I’m still waiting for that 1 week where something good happens on JEOPARDY! & Wheel Of Fortune… EVERY SINGLE DAY!
