This week, we sort of had the reverse of last week. We began with a triple stumper and ended with a triple solve. Unlike last week, there was another triple stumper on Wednesday. The other two clues went 2 out of 3, which wasn’t bad at all. I guess we might say Wednesday’s Poetry clue was the hardest. As I mentioned in the comments of the recap, it depends on your definition of a contemporary. There were a couple of easy clues; namely, Literary Aninals and Countries of Europe. Friday’s Tech History clue might be voted the easiest but, oddly enough, no one predicted a triple solve on Spoiler Talk.

Jeopardy! champs, week of July 25, 2022

Karla Fossett came back to play her second game on Monday but Ed Coulson won that game. Ed also won his second game. On Wednesday, Brianne Barker was the prevailing professor. Katrina Hill won on Thursday and on Friday, Luigi de Guzman became the last champ of Season 38, as well as the first champ of Season 39.

Here is the “You Call Yourself a Fan” category from Thursday’s game.
