The first 3 clues of the week were major softballs. They all should have gone 3 out of 3, but sometimes players find it hard to believe it’s that easy and disregard the obvious. The last 2 clues were harder but we’d have to say Thursday’s was the toughest. Airline statistics probably aren’t on many people’s study list for Jeopardy!

The Champions Wild Card (Hearts) tournament almost wrapped up this week. Monday was the last quarterfinal. Emma Saltzberg won the semifinal spot. The next three days were semifinals and the three finalists were Gary Hollis, Tyler Vandenberg and Yungsheng Wang. As we all know, 2 final matches follow the semis. The first was on Friday, with Tyler leading at the end of the game. We’ll find out who wins it all on Monday. After that, we’re in for 4 more Second Chance tournaments that will run from 12/19/23 through 1/15/24.
