Tue, November 21 – Correct answers: 0
TELEVISION: This series grew out of a screenplay titled “Murdoch” show

Wed, November 22 – Correct answers: 1
MUSICIANS: An Esquire profile said, “The most distinguishing thing” about the face of this singer “are his eyes, clear blue & alert” show

Thu, November 23 – Correct answers: 2
SCIENCE ETYMOLOGY: First detected in the Sun’s atmosphere in 1868, it got its name from an old word for sun show

Fri, November 24 – Correct answers: 3
BUSINESS: This company announced, “On September 29th, 2023, we will send out the last red envelope” show

Only one of the final clues had one correct response and that was on Wednesday. There were 2 correct responses for the Monday and Thursday clues, although Thursday’s might have produced 3 correct, but you’d have to see that to believe it! And you can at the bottom of this post. No one got Tuesday’s clue, making that the hardest. Everyone got Friday’s clue, making that the easiest.



The quarter-final games in this Champions Wild Card tournament wrapped up on Monday and Tuesday. We then proceeded to the semi-finals and the three winners were: Nick Cascone, Jen Jazwinski and Dennis Chase. The two-day finals will take place on the first two days of next week. There’s one more Champions Wild Card Tournament to go after that.
