Odd game to say the least. Ilhana was strong in the first round, virtually silent in the 2nd. Sarah was the best player all the way through, until Jared made his comeback from negative land. How he got that tough “mega” DD and not the 2 easier ones is beyond me. (“Clockmaker” and ‘colonial militiamen” all but spelled it out.)

“Islamabad” immediately came to mind, but just didn’t connect it with the name of the country. And they accepted “Pakistan” even though that didn’t completely match what the clue requested. I guess “current country” superseded “full name.”

Another night of killer stumpers, except for the city of 20 million/kidnappings, and the horse racing system of weights.

It looks like Ilhana didn’t get any correct answers guessed during the Double Jeopardy round.

We almost got our third daily double skunking of the season.
