Emmett found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “1930s America” under the $1,000 clue, with 9 clues still to go after it. He was in third place with $2,200, $2,000 less than Jamie’s lead. He made it a true Daily Double and he was RIGHT.

Jamie finished in the lead with $6,800. Emmett was second with $5,000 and Diana was last with $3,200.

Jamie wrote down “the Anti-Trust Law.” He lost his $8,000 bet, leaving him with $800.
Emmett, the lawyer, got it right. His $7,801 bet brought him up to $17,601.
Diana came up with “conflict of interest.” She lost $6,401, finishing with $6,799. So Emmett won the match and he is the new Jeopardy! champ.

I was really hoping Diana would win it all. Imo she was a strong contestant and really knew her stuff. So sad to watch her go down in fj.
@vj, Alex will probably mention tomorrow that Jamie missed 3 fj clues & that’s why he’s not there anymore. This is in response to Alex’s opening comment about Jamie tonight.
Well, Jamie took that in good spirits but Alex really should stick to wishing them all good luck in the beginning.

This shouldn’t be too tough of a final but tough break for jamie. Being specific in a jeopardy answer response is the key to winning more cash, this is a lesson that jeopardy contestants should know before entering a game like this. I wonder if Jamie’s confidence got the better of him today, Vj? The sherman anti trust act was something I learned back in history class.
