Ray chose the letters G, M, C and A. He got one of each of those letters, but none were in the second word. He didn’t have a problem with the last three words all the same. Ray was convinced that the first word was ‘cooking’ because, well, that makes sense! I don’t think I’ve ever heard anyone say the phrase that was

and the chances of Ray choosing one of the missing letters in that word were nonexistent, so Ray won’t be tooling around town in a new Lincoln.
