I thought Amanda wasn’t as dominant today as yesterday. Still, big ups to her. I think she’ll fit well with the other MM.

I got the first and third ultimate questions correct. Coincidentally, I also said “Presbyterian”, as they both did. But, for the 4th, I said “Oklahoma”, even though that is too far south for the Dakota first nations. And, I am not familiar with “The Song of Hiawatha”, although, for several reasons, including this website, I should be!

  2. Jacob Ska says:

Btw, Amanda appeared on Jeopardy a few years ago but didn’t win. She sure made up for it on Master Minds. 😉

  3. VJ says:

I was surprised that Muffy didn’t get that last clue in the final round. If she only knew Minnehaha from the Song of Hiawatha…. When I was a kid, they always said Minnehaha meant laughing water, but I read somewhere it really means waterfall.

I was feeling pretty sure Amanda would win, even if this went to the extra question. A big congrats– beating Muffy twice is quite an accomplishment!

    • Jacob Ska says:

VJ, I agree. I have no idea where Muffy’s response came from on the 4th question. Imo Amanda and her superb performance rattled Muffy today. Amanda was fantastic, calm under pressure, and deserved to become a Master Mind. Congratulations Amanda.

  4. Sherman Cox III says:

She totally deserved to become a master mind! And it’s very rare to see women win this show. She dominated in both of her games. Can’t wait to see her play as a master mind!
