Supporting Cast: The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far – Shameless

Here are some of the actors and actresses who appeared in “The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far from the Tree,” the eighth episode of Shameless, Season 9 (1-20-19): The recap of the episode is here.

Max Adler in Shameless

Um, I asked for no dressing

Max Adler played the customer at Patsy’s who was allergic to eggs so he ordered a salad with no mayonnaise. When he complained about the dressing to Fiona, he got a dressing down on top of it. When he learned she was the manager, he told her she was rude and said he was leaving and never coming back. “Okay,” Fiona yelled after him, “’cause what I could really use are some more customers who are allergic to food.” Fiona was also acting weird around other customers, lecturing them about leaving gum under the table. We imagine she’ll have some ‘splaining to do to owner Margo when the negative Yelp reviews starting showing up.

Joy Osmanski in Shameless

You’re not as fertile as a bumblebee, Frank

Joy Osmanski played Dr. Kwan at the fertility clinic. She allowed Frank to go off the premises to bring back his specimen because he claimed he couldn’t provide a good sample due to the sterile environment and lack of “decent visual aids.” So now Carl will be the real biological father of any babies Ingrid has a result and Frank will be the only one who knows it. We assume that Frank will keep that under his hat unless there is a way for him to profit by revealing it.

Molly Reynolds in Shameless

Hey, I won two bucks!

Molly Reynolds played the homeless woman, Carpool. Fiona wanted to know how she ended up homeless. She said she used to be a music producer — “Big time. Jazz.” — until MP3s ruined the industry. She didn’t explain how she got the nickname “Carpool.” Fiona gave her the scratch off that she just purchased and Carpool won $2.00.

Rhonda Stubbins White and Anthony Gonzalez in Shameless

This is Santiago… doesn’t speak a word of English

Rhonda Stubbins White played the worker at Casa de Oro who facilitated Kevin and Veronica’s adoption of 12-year-old Santiago. He doesn’t speak English but he can sing the Star-Spangled Banner any time, or all the time even. Anthony Gonzalez played Santiago. If you have not seen him in anything before, perhaps you have heard his voice, as Miguel in “Coco.”
