Supporting Cast: Swipe – Shameless

Patsy’s Pies got a whole new wait staff in Episode 2, Season 7 of Shameless (10-9-16). We have the actresses who played them and their characters’ names in this post. The recap of the episode is here.

Sharon Lawrence as Chad's boss in Shameless

Oh yeah, Patsy’s… what a dump!

Sharon Lawrence played Chad’s boss, the person really in charge of the property where Fiona works. She gave Fiona full managerial powers at Patsy’s with a warning not to cost her company any money. That might mean that Fiona didn’t really do any background checks on the three new hires. She did buy new uniforms, though.

Ruby Modine as Sierra in Shameless

You, me and your brother are gonna get along real fine

Ruby Modine played Sierra, the first new waitress Fiona hired. Sierra is everything that Melinda and Wilma were not. Young, attractive, cooperative and enthusiastic. She told Lip that she has a kid and a mean ex-boyfriend and is not looking for anything serious. Lip said he just got out of a 30-day rehab program after being expelled from college. Sierra said that made them a perfect match. Oh, and Sierra doesn’t have any felonies. It was pretty funny watching Fiona ask her that since Fiona is a felon herself.

Suteara Vaughn as Ariel in Shameless

Suteara Vaughn played Ariel. We didn’t actually see her interview. She just dropped her resume off with Carl, who was having lunch at the time. Ariel got a kick out of the physical discomfort her skimpy outfit was causing Carl, unaware that it was going to send him back to the doctor for new stitches. We just wondered why anyone would pick Carl, obviously not in charge of anything, as the one person in the diner to talk to about a “Help Wanted” sign.

Andrea Ellsworth as Didi in Shameless

I got to say the episode title.

Andrea Ellsworth played Didi. We didn’t see her interview either. She was hired on the spot after Olga played the race card to avoid getting fired. Didi explained the wonders of Tinder to Fiona with the episode title (Swipe, F— and Leave) and set up a profile for her.

Alyssa LeBlanc as Wendy in Shameless

My services are à la carte.

Alyssa LeBlanc played Wendy, the topless maid. She inspired Kevin to come up with a fabulous business idea because the service she worked for didn’t really offer housecleaning. Kevin decided he would start his own service, offering entertainment and cleaning. He arranged to get that Nooks & Fannies van together before Svetlana and V even got home from the Alibi so don’t tell us his lazy butt couldn’t have cleaned the house and made dinner.

Sandra Hinojosa as Wilma in Shameless

Who needs Tinder when you’ve got the El?

Sandra Hinojosa played Wilma, the woman that Ian decided to take to bed in a bid to learn whether he was 100% gay. We don’t think Wilma ever even knew that was the case or that she much cares if she ever sees Ian again.

Veronica Burgess in Shameless

Today’s lesson: never haggle with crazy people.

Veronica Burgess played Trisha, the expectant mother who tried to haggle with Debbie over the $2,500 stolen pram she wanted to buy but must have decided that Debbie was crazy after she brought up people cutting babies out of the wombs of pregnant women.
