Supporting Cast: I Am a Storm – Shameless

They introduced a boatload of new characters in Episode 4, Season 7 of Shameless (10-23-16), and we have the actors and actresses who played them in this post. The recap of the episode is here.

Khleo Thomas and Kahyun Kim in Shameless

The turnover at this joint is ridiculous

When Lip showed up at his internship job, a new office admin named Dylan Oswald (Khleo Thomas) told him that his former supervisor, Tito, had gone off to DuelDogs to earn $200K a year. Lip was promoted to Sr. Intern, making double what he made before, which was nothing. He’s now making the same as the new low-level intern, an M.I.T. grad named Melody (Kahyun Kim). Lip was showing her the ropes (how to make coffee) while Melody interrogated him about the company. Then the Feds showed up. Looks like they’ll all be looking for new jobs now.

Elliot Fletcher as Trevor in Shameless

Will Ian tell Trevor why he broke up with Caleb?

Elliot Fletcher played Trevor, an advocate for Children of the Night and the LGBTQIA Center. He and Ian took a liking to each other and met up at a club. “100% gay” Ian learned that Trevor is a transgender and sort of freaked out, but they sorted that out and Trevor introduced Ian to a group of his friends: Bethany (Cheyenne Haynes), Emerson (Rod Keller), Rabbit (Karen Anzoategui) and DX (Courtney McCullough). Ian began to learn about a lot of sexual identities he had never before heard of.

Shelley Robertson as Officer Dawson in Shameless

What are you people talking about?

Shelley Robertson played Officer Dawson. She responded to the frantic call of Kevin and V who feared that Svetlana’s father, Yvon, had taken Amy, Gemma and Evgeny and sold them on the black market. This was just part of Kev’s convoluted explanation that Officer Dawson was trying to unravel: “the guy who took them is my other wife’s dad. Except she’s my wife’s wife, not mine… not legally.” Then V piped up with “She’s my wife, and I’m his wife.” Then they tried to explain that Yvon was Evgeny’s grandfather, but Gemma and Amy were his step-grandchildren. By the time that Kev and V got back to the Alibi, Yvon was back with the kids with a nice picture he had made of himself with the kids that didn’t show his “disturbing tattoos.”

Greg Berney in Shameless

Gourmet pickles coming up

Greg Berney played Max, the new cook at Patsy’s. He sure is a big improvement over that grumpy burger-burning Johnny. What was in that Bourgie Grilled Cheese lunch special? Artichoke, spinach and pepper jack on toasted sourdough. Fiona told Max to add some gourmet pickles and charge $10 for it and it was a success. Pretty soon, Shameless will have to publish a Patsy’s Pies cookbook and include the drink recipes from the “speakeasy.” That’s assuming, of course, that they don’t get busted. Anyone notice Sierra handing a #speakeasy2016 flyer to a couple of cops?
