Here’s a summary of the clues on The Best Ever Trivia Show for Wednesday, August 28, 2019 with host Sherri Shepherd. Today’s episode title is “Over the Moon.”

The format of this show pits 3 contestants against 3 trivia experts. There are 3 rounds and the player with the highest score wins $1,000 and moves on to the Ultimate Trivia Challenge for a chance to win $10,000. They give one player a choice of categories and a choice of experts to play against. It’s a multiple choice format.

In Round 1, Alex chose BAKING instead of Outer Space and he chose expert Ken. 4 questions, 50 points for each correct answer and double if Ken gets it wrong.

In Round 2, as the leader, Alex preferred OUTER SPACE to Photography this time. 100 points for each correct answer. Jonathan was this round’s trivia expert to beat for double points.

In Round 3, Tara chose INSECTS and not All About Teeth. The twist in this 3-question round is the expert reveals how confident s/he is about the answer and the players have a chance to go with that for 200 points or to pick their own answer for 400 points, if right. Muffy is this round’s expert.

Alex wins $1,000 and gets a chance to win $10,000 by taking on a set of 5 more questions and getting more of them right than Muffy. He would also return on the next show. Any player who makes it through 3 shows and wins $30,000, gets to join the Best Ever Trivia Show’s expert team.

Alex and Muffy were tied at 4 right each so Alex got to play the Ultimate Trivia Question chosen by the experts before the show. He does not have to beat Muffy on this one. He just has to get it right.

    Alex is sharp. I hope he wins again tomorrow.

      I do, too, Jacob. It would be cool to see one of them make the expert trivia team. idk how long this show is going to last but even if someone got that distinction, I doubt we would ever see the player who made the trivia team beating the other two experts to play in the last round. Still, it would be interesting to watch one play a regular round against contestants.
