There was only one game this week where no one got FJ right and only one game where everyone got it. That was an improvement over last week but it was a bad week for the TOC list. We began with a new champ on Monday, Brent Povis, who turned out to be the Winner of the Week in terms of money. Brent was defeated on Tuesday by Annie Moriondo who caused a stir when she risked her runaway. Annie turned her crown over to Katrina Mundinger on Tuesday. She was the only winner of more than one game, but Gordon Moffat prevailed on Friday. He’ll be the one at the champ’s podium on Monday.

Annie’s risky wager wasn’t the only jaw-dropper this week. One of Annie’s opponents in her second game bet and lost everything he had three times! In Friday’s game, Gordon could have at least kept the last Daily Double out of his opponents reach. He didn’t but won the game anyway. Here’s the 5-Letter Word Category from Monday’s game. Sometimes a category that looks like easy pickings just ain’t!
