This week went better than last week in FJ! The Tuesday and Wednesday clues were real softballs, with the latter producing the only triple solve of the week. Thursday’s clue was hardest for the players, the only one no one got.
Marty Cunningham was the returning champ on Monday. He came out of that one as a 3x champ with $65,900 to his credit but lost to Frank Lang on Tuesday. Rob Worman defeated Frank on Wednesday, hanging in and ending the week as a 3x champ with $54,299 total winnings. Rob had top payday of the week, nabbing a spot on the Top 10 payouts of the season. The lowest on there is $32,401 now.
Here’s the “SNL in the OED” category from Tuesday’s game. There were also 3 categories this week with long video clues this week — The Como Zoo, The Phantom of the Opera and Jay Leno’s Garage. Most viewers aren’t exactly enthusiastic about them but they are all on Jeopardy!’s youtube channel if you want to see them.
