Monday was a highly anticipated game with the return of 2x champ, Claudia Corriere as co-champ with the returning 1x champ, Mike Drummond. The game ended with NO CHAMP, and that produced 3 brand new players on Tuesday as well as a slew of media reports in my newsfeed (from sites that only pay attention to Jeopardy! on such occasions) for the rest of the week. On Tuesday, nobody got FJ again. Two players wisely resisted the urge to bet it all and Kyle Webb was the one who held on to the most. It may only have been $4,399, but just look at what Kyle took home after winning two more games. She was defeated on Friday by Fred Vaughn making him the returning champ next Monday.

Of course, we have to include the “Schwa de Vivre” category from Friday’s game. “Paranoid” came up on Tuesday’s Spoiler Talk in the Susan Sontag quote (“I envy paranoids.They actually feel people are paying attention to them.”) and more paranoia came up in Thursday’s comments :):)

    @Jacob, Rhonda and VJ – glad you and DIL are OK and safe.

    @VJ – “…and more paranoia came up in Thursday’s comments” – LOL!

    VJ, how is your DIL doing? I imagine her flight was cancelled? They were unfortunately right about the blizzard, we are getting hit hard here.

    • VJ says:

      My DIL just went ahead and changed her flight till tomorrow. My granddaughter was just showing me some pics of the storm her mom sent. Goodness! Glad to see your power is still on. You did get to see the show yesterday, right?

      • rhonda says:

        That’s good, glad she was able to change her flight. Yes, yesterday’s show was on, to my pleasant surprise, thanks for asking, VJ. It is quite the storm, not fun at all. I am dreading the slushy mess that it will turn into when it is over..

        • VJ says:

          I’m glad you got to see the show even though our fears for Kyle proved true. Here’s a pleasant thought to help you through the slushy mess:

          @Rhonda, glad you got to see the show. The blizzard is definitely pounding us on the East Coast.

          @VJ&Rhonda, your predictions on Kyle were correct. I really hated to see her go.

        • rhonda says:

          Jacob, hope you got through the blizzard ok, it was really something. I think I heard we got 27 inches, so crazy. I was also very disappointed that Kyle didn’t win her 4th game.
