This was the worst week in a long time with one redeeming triple solve on Friday, the first one since April 8th! But we had to trudge through 4 clues over 4 days that produced only ONE correct response. That’s one right out of 12 responses. The blame for that was mostly put on the clues. The clues for Wednesday and Thursday, in particular, just did not have anything helpful. Tuesday’s clue was the easiest for me, when just like last week, FJ! featured a 19th century poem.

Jeopardy! champs, week of June 27, 2022

Joe Feldmann returned for his second game on Monday. He won that game but lost on Tuesday to Pete Chattrabhuti. On Wednesday, Halley Ryherd was the winner and David Bzdak won on Thursday. On Friday, Eleanor Dixon defeated David Bzdak and she will be back on Independence Day. Pete scored highest in the 3 back-to-back triple stumper games by virtue of standing pat on his score after Double Jeopardy!
