The majority of this week’s final clues went 1 out of 3 this week. Of those 3, I would pick FAMOUS WOMEN as the hardest. Monday’s REFERENCE BOOKS clue was the easiest. It’s way too difficult for me to judge Friday’s NYC clue. For me, this was actually the week’s easiest, having lived most of my life in that area of the country.

2x champ Emily White returned on Monday but Michael Tran sent her home. He lost to Sandy Olive on Tuesday. Sandy won again on Wednesday but lost to Arman Ramnath on Thursday. Austin Weiss won Friday’s game and he will be back when Dr. Sanjay Gupta starts hosting on Monday. The players’ cumulative winnings over the last 2 weeks yielded a $217,985 donation from Jeopardy! to Savannah Guthrie’s charity, The Bowery Mission in New York City.

Sandy had the week’s biggest paydays: her first was $21K even and her second was $31,200, totaling $52,200. That was a bit more than Emily White’s 2-day total of $50,100 last week.
