There was one Final Jeopardy! clue that everyone got this week and that was on Tuesday. So that turned out to be the week’s easiest clue, despite low predictions. There were 2 triple stumpers and I’m nominating the MOUNTAINS clue for the most difficult. I imagine more trapshooters watch the show than mountain climbers, and I still think the clue was misleading.

This week’s winners:
Mon 4/20/26 $21,000 Jamie Ding
Tue 4/21/26 $21,601 Jamie Ding
Wed 4/22/26 $19,001 Jamie Ding
Thu 4/23/26 $56,001 Jamie Ding
Fri 4/24/26 $33,002 Jamie Ding

Jamie Ding was up to 26 wins at the beginning of the week. He won every game but it was not entirely smooth sailing. Two challengers, Max Ernst on Tuesday and Patrick Nolan on Thursday, were both able to prevent Jamie from having a runaway. That’s no small feat these days and Jeopardy! fans want to see the players who can do it get another shot in Second Chance. Jamie finished the week with total winnings of $882,605 for 31 games. He’ll tie James Holzhauer for games won if Jamie prevails on Monday. Of course, he’s nowhere near Holzhauer’s $2,462,216 winnings, but then neither are Matt Amodio and Amy Schneider and they both won more games than Holzhauer.

In addition to the $150,605 won by Jamie Ding this week, an additional $25,000 was paid out in consolation prizes: $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for third place each day.

Here is the RECENT HITMAKERS category from Thursday’s game.
