The week began with an American history clue everyone got. That would automatically qualify it as the easiest clue of the week. Ken Jennings didn’t seem to think it was, though. He thought the players guessed. Tuesday’s clue was very easy if you could match a state capital to one of the hints. Two players got that one and, on Thursday, two players got the famous Minnesota company. The other clues were triple stumpers. The clue writers clearly meant for the players to focus on the word “infallible” for that very short Jane Austen clue. Somehow they couldn’t make the connection to the person that still applies to. By comparison, Friday’s triple stumper didn’t have a straightforward hint like that so I guess that makes Friday’s clue the hardest.
