Fri, Oct 10 – Correct answers: 0
CLASSIC DRAMA: The line “Was this the face that launched a thousand ships?” is asked by this title character in a play written in the 16th century show

It’s not hard to pick the easiest clue of the week, is it? We think the only reason the Animation clue on Wednesday wasn’t a triple solve was because one player didn’t get to participate in Final Jeopardy! Ironically, a lot of folks thought Thursday’s World Organizations was really hard, including us, but 2 people got that one right. The general complaint was that the answer wasn’t a world organization, per se, although that wasn’t why I thought it was tough. After all, it is an organization and it is in the world.

The other 3 clues were all triple stumpers. The easiest out of those clues was Classic Drama. Shakespeare wasn’t the only famous 16th century playwright. Jeopardy! hopefuls would do well to take a look at the others and their works. I’m nominating the TV 2025 for the hardest. I don’t know if that clue would even register with someone who watched the show a few times. As it was, the clue was not at all helpful in pointing to the correct genre.

This week’s winners:
Mon 10/06/25 $21,035 TJ Fisher
Tue 10/07/25 $16,600 TJ Fisher
Wed 10/08/25 $24,199 TJ Fisher

Fri 10/10/25 $4,599 Aimée Fluitt

TJ returned as a 2x champ on Monday. He won 3 more games and a total of $61,834. His $38,889 from last week gave him a grand total of $100,723, plus the 5 wins gave him a ticket to the Tournament of Champions. Spencer Janes took over on Thursday. He won $29,000 which turned out to be the top payout of the week. Big bets on Friday’s triple stumper resulted in Aimée Fluitt becoming the new champ with $4,599.

Jeopardy! paid out $95,433 in winnings this week plus $25K in consolation prizes. TJ and Spencer got $2K each.

Here is the MIDDLE AGES category from Friday’s game.
