Nobody got the Norton Juster clue about the greatest book of all time?? All three contestants should have been disqualified immediately! 😉
What a game! Kate was left at the starting gate but charged forward and became relevant. I didn’t do very well, missing all the DDs and blanking on Final (I said Black and Decker just to be different). Only stumper I knew was Buick’s parent company. How did no one know that?
Not sure I understood Derek’s FJ bet of $7500. Adam more or less was going to wager $15201, and the others had to hope he’d miss. If Kate doubled to $27200, Derek would finish with $25500 and lose. He should have wagered at least $9201 to lock out Kate if both got Final correct, and win the game if Adam missed the clue.
As for Kate and Derek, I think they might be in the Second Chance Tournament.
Adam is the 4th superchampion of Season 42 and he also becomes the 22nd superchampion in the show’s history. Adam has bumped Tristan Williams out of the top 3 in the 2027 TOC exhibition match.
Adam could reach the 2027 ToC Exhibition Match. Jamie Ding is in 1st place with 31 wins. He’s guaranteed to be in it without any doubt. Harrison Whitaker is in 2nd place with 14 wins. We’ll see how he hangs on.
