Last night I silently predicted that Adam would be taken down by end of week. Tonight’s show began with that possibility, until Tyler drove me nutso with his awful answers: cuddle (DD), Rent, Stromboli. He played well after that but ultimately it didn’t matter. Final was tough, I wavered between Portugal and France. Nora’s answer of England was lame (the Euro?). Knew the first two DDs but not the few stumpers.
One thing we can say for this week — the stumpers have substantially decreased.
I got the Lit stumper and the one where he said cement. I don’t remember if Ken said “I’m afraid” when he called that wrong. I wish I could suggest other things he could say besides “I’m afraid.” 😎 My daughter says maybe he could use the reply she got from me about a million times: “ABSOLUTELY not.”
Adam is now qualified for the TOC spot. We got 13 players out of 21 who qualified for the 2027 TOC so far.
