One word for this group: MEH. The challengers took themselves right out of the game, especially Matt. 1600 miles for an in-stadium race? It took 3 tries to answer that clue, which I thought would go quickly. (1600 meters is roughly a mile, but there’s no official race of that distance. 1500m is a classic distance.) I went with the “other” Indian personality for Final, Priyanka Chopra, who’s more of a film than a TV star.
I guessed right on the middle DD and the London essayist and knew several of the $1000 clues.
You know what was funny? Whenever there’s book + fire on this show, you just know that Bradbury book is gonna show up. I never expected a TS on that
The alliterative Islands miss was just sad.
This is the second time this week that all 3 DDs were missed.
