  1. Howard says:

Ginger Rogers a TV legend? Ouch. Knew it had to be Lucy or Carol Burnett, but Lucy seemed the safer pick.

Have known for many decades what two bits represents. 8 bits is considered a dollar-something to do, I think, with the old expression “pieces of eight.”

That LAZ clue was tough, but I was somewhat familiar with that investment company.

There’s an inside story about Jackie Fox vis-a-vis the Runaways, but this is not the forum for it.

  2. Stuart says:

Was there a question about former Jeopardy champ and forner musician Jackie Fox, perhaps in the Rock Docs category? Also, where can I watch previous day episodes? Thanks

    • VJ says:

Yes, Stuart, this was the $2000 clue in that Rock Docs category: “4-time “Jeopardy!” champ Jackie Fuchs has a J.D. from Harvard; as Jackie Fox, she played bass in this all-female Joan Jett band”

In the Knight After Knight category, it was hilarious when a picture of Michael Caine was shown and Mazin thought it was Mick Jagger. I figured there weren’t going to be many correct responses in FJ! at that point!

As for where to see old episodes, you can always see all the clues on J-Archive.com. Look on Jeopardy!’s YouTube channel. They upload Final Jeopardy! clips everyday as well as occasional categories and other goodies.

I wonder what Mick Jagger would think of being mistaken for Michael Caine, that was a hysterical response!

  3. Rick says:

As per the next to the smallest planet in the solar system, I naturally came up with: “What is Mercury”? Well, I gave myself credit for that one regardless as Pluto is indeed a full fledged planet. When are those clowns at the International Astronomical Union going to get that straight? Regarding the FJ, the program in our area was interrupted at that point by a thunderstorm warning. Oh well!

    • Robert Brownstone says:

Didn’t they wrongly give credit to Eric for answering “Mars”?

      • VJ says:

Hi Robert, Mars is the correct response. Here’s the clue: It’s the second smallest of the solar system’s 8 major planets

From PlanetsEducation.com: “According to location Mars is the fourth planet from the sun. But according to size, the red planet Mars is the second smallest planet in our solar system….”

  4. Lou says:

Speaking of that book by Agatha Christie there is a game based on Death of the Nile. No one can forget the legendary Lucille Ball. To this day she has made all of us laugh on television.

Congrats to Eric winning game 6! Hope he keeps this up!
