WHAT ARE SEVEN (7)?
“Seven Words You Can’t Say On Television” is a comedy routine that was the last track on “Class Clown” (1972), George Carlin’s 4th comedy album. More accurately, they were the “7 Dirty Words” that could not be said on broadcasts that fell under the jurisdiction of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) because HBO made its debut that same year. Those seven words weren’t censored on HBO films and comedy routines. Wikipedia doesn’t censor the list either.
All, the same, where and at what time Carlin could perform the routine was such a hot topic, the comedian was arrested at various performances.
Stephanie got it right. She bet $6,000 and finished with $18,600.
Matt went with nine, perhaps thinking of Lenny Bruce. He bet and lost his whole $15,600.
Madeline got it, too. She bet $13,500 and won the game with $31,700. Madeline Kaplan is the new Jeopardy! champ.

That was pretty cool how Stephanie and Matt caught up after Madeline got the back-to-back DDs. They all played so well and the icing on the cake: the last clue wasn’t one of those one where you just know the leader is going to win, even though it turned out that way.
