Great game, lots of gettable clues, 3 sharp players, good scores. They hit the first two DDs before I could try to get them. 3rd one was easy. I totally should have known Final, considering my age and that I know all the words. Interesting how Matt from Arlington appeared on a show with an Arlington category. Reminded me of how I got smoked on the big-$ clues in Classical Music by a classical music DJ. Made all the difference between winning and losing narrowly.
My bro-in-law lives in LA and worked for decades at LACMA. He’s into fine arts and music and would have loved that category. Surprised no one knew the musical family, although the clue didn’t mention probably the most famous one of the bunch. Comic strip clue was tough but I remembered it well. Same with the pioneering rock and roller.
That was pretty cool how Stephanie and Matt caught up after Madeline got the back-to-back DDs. They all played so well and the icing on the cake: the last clue wasn’t one of those ones where you just know the leader is going to win, even though it turned out that way.
