Danielle found the first Daily Double in “Shakespeare Plays by Quote” under the $1,600 clue on the fourth pick of the round. She was in second place with $1,400, $5,700 less than Mallory’s lead. Danielle bet $2,000 and she was RIGHT.

4 clues later, Danielle landed on the last Daily Double in “‘G’ Whiz”. She was in second place with $3,800, $3,300 less than Mallory’s lead. Danielle bet $2,000 and she was RIGHT.

Coachella (The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival) debuted in October 1999 and took place over two days, showcasing well-known and emerging musical artists. In subsequent years (after skipping 2000) Coachella was a one, two or three day event. Coachella has become one of the world’s most popular music festivals. Just how popular? Cherry got it half right with Woodstock and Lollapalooza. She lost her $2,100 bet and finished with $700.
Mallory got it right. Her $5,000 bet brought her up to $14,100.
Danielle had Coachella but went with Burning Man for the second one. She lost $4,801 and finished with $8,599. That made Mallory Kass the new Jeopardy! champ.

I totally bagged it on FJ. I had no idea.
Something about Mallory I like. It’s her style, I think.
Relatively low scoring affair, but, still some drama.
To her credit, I think Mayim was restrained on the clues in the Jewish category. I say this because she’s a very observant Jewish person, which one might intuit from her correct pronunciations. I got the TS in that one. I’ve said about myself, “I’m the most Jewish goy you’ll ever meet!* Otherwise, about 50% on the other TS.
Missed much of the show, but as a survivor of 1969 Woodstock, I knew half of FJ and got the 2nd half quickly. Also knew the Beatles tune used by WWF. Not a well-known song, really, although my daughter saw the movie named after that tune, and my youngest son knows as much about the Beatles as I do.
Danielle said WWF for $2,000 but out of time for 3 more clues.
Well I am Happy Mallory won. Still though I am not surprised no one else except Mallory knew Woodstock. A good fj clue I tell you. Just hope Mallory can keep winning more. At least all the daily doubles were nailed.
