WHO IS HULK HOGAN?
Hulk Hogan was born Terry Gene Bollea in 1953. He began pro wrestling in 1977, but did not use the “Hulk” moniker until 1979. That inspiration came from a Memphis TV show gig when Bollea was seated next to TV’s “Incredible Hulk”, Lou Ferrigno. After noticing that Bollea was larger than Ferrigno, Bollea’s manager began billing him as Terry “The Hulk” Boulder, among other handles. When Bollea was first hired by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), it was Vince McMahon, Sr. who reinvented him as Hulk Hogan. McMahon wanted an Irish wrestling hero, but of all the Irish clan names he could have chosen, including his own surname, he must have liked the alliterative sound of Hogan the best.
This video takes a look at Hulk Hogan’s size compared to other people at various points in his career. It also shows a poster at about 3:00 where Hulk Hogan was billed as Sterling Golden, the Wrestling Hulk. You can turn on the captions if you have a tough time with the narrator’s accent.
Erica drew a blank. She lost $4,400 and finished with $200.
Jamie went with Rowdy Roddy Piper, whose wrestling persona was Scottish. Jamie lost $5,199 and finished with $9,201.
Dominex also drew a blank. He lost $11,201 and finished with $6,399. That made Jamie Ding the winner with a 19-day total of $539,573.

What an exciting game today. I was really hoping that we would finally have a new champion for the first time in weeks, but heartbreakingly for Dominex, Final was a killer and he dropped to second place when making the cover bet after Jamie made a small wager and Jamie survived a scare to become a 19 game champion. I think we can probably say that Dominex is going to be a shoo-in to appear in Second Chance next postseason.
