As luck would have it, the G response Jamie said on that daily double showed up in the $800 clue.
I had an unusually good night. Thought the first 2 DDs and several of the $1000 and $2000 clues were easier than expected. Final came to me about halfway through, and I really thought at least one would get it. Knew the settlement-winning atty, the one-letter historic figure. Those pronoun clues were toughies.
lol I got it right.
What an exciting game today. I was really hoping that we would finally have a new champion for the first time in weeks, but heartbreakingly for Dominex, Final was a killer and he dropped to second place when making the cover bet after Jamie made a small wager and Jamie survived a scare to become a 19 game champion. I think we can probably say that Dominex is going to be a shoo-in to appear in Second Chance next postseason.
