Greg was a little too loosey-goosey with his wagers and guesses, but won anyway. Eventually that will take him down. Ian and Beth did well to stay within range after a slow start.
Cannot believe that no one got that FJ from 2 years ago re JFK. I blanked on Final today even though I knew what the Seneca Falls convention was about. And got only the first DD. Knew the 5′ powerhouse and the 3-named sci-fi guy.
It was another fascinating game, and I performed well in the game. IMHO, and according to Geoffrey of Monmouth, Merlin was the one who built the monument in Salisbury Plains, England. No, the actual Merlin was not a magician, but was rather a world class mechanical engineer. In fact, it was said that Merlin had constructed the machinery which was needed to accomplish that feat. No, contrary to folklore, Geoffrey of Monmouth never claimed that Merlin enlisted a giant for that task. Enough said. Regarding FJ, all I could come up with was “self evident”.
