WHO IS JACK LONDON?

“Call of the Wild” is a 1903 adventure novel by Jack London. If they ever use this novel in “People in the Book”, they might have to go with John Thornton and Judge Miller. They couldn’t use the main character, Buck, because he’s a dog.

Here is the whole quote from Chapter 7 of “Sounding of the Call”: “From the forest came the call (or one note of it, for the call was many noted), distinct and definite as never before,–a long-drawn howl, like, yet unlike, any noise made by husky dog.”

Jason bet it all and doubled his score to $3,200.

Kristen added $8,000 to finish with $21,200.

Kendra bet $7,001 and won the game with $26,401. Kendra Blanchette is the new Jeopardy! champ.

Lana, yes, apparently, you are missing all the info you are looking for when it is in the recap. Above the video, it says how many players got the Final Jeopardy clue right — in this case, all of them.

Under the video, it gives the correct answer: Who is Jack London?

Above the image of the players, it tells you how much each player bet. Their responses are not listed there because I already told you they all gave the right answer.

Jason couldn’t get anything going today since the ladies were very quick on the buzzer. Glad we got our triple solve today. Perhaps Kendra can build up on her win. Anyone here read catch 22? It’s a pretty good book, I just wished Jason would have taken that daily double on people in books in.the first round
